PRNG Randomness fix (GS2, version 2)

Description: We all know (and have a love/hate relationship with, at least for the most part) Golden Sun's broken and/or easily manipulatable random number generator. This IPS file aims to patch that so the prng is both essentially unmanipulatable (at least without codes/forcing it to certain values via ramhacking...), AND is more uniformly random (meaning better AI capabilities for enemies!).

As of this version, both of those features are already in, but it still needs testing done on it to determine how much more random it actually is compare to vanilla --- and whether any further adjustments are necessary. Hence me posting it here for more viewers / users than just on the discord.

edit: Just for transparency's sake, this code adds an additional prng formula setup (based off the one at 08014878 in ROM, with the additional code tagged on at the start) in a minor amount of free space at 080C9620. This is pointed to by an adjusted pointer at 080CA09C that will call it instead of 08014878.

Note that this ties the reseeding to the first directional movement input made after every new room load / battle won; while this much is functional + does not break the game, I cannot stress enough that this IPS still needs testing done on it to confirm the changed randomness works as intended.


Edit2: after a fair amount of testing I discovered a potential bug (dunno whether it would be a problem or not in actuality, but better to remove it / rerandomize it than be sorry down the line) I've updated the reseeding formula in the .ips (and reupped the DL with this change).

Salanewt: Okay, minor announcement I guess. We just looked over some pre-release footage of GS1, and noticed that one of the unused and unlisted animations we discovered in GS2 (and GS1) plays in that footage. "Brine" is actually an early Fizz.
