Ive downloaded a template for a website... linked below

In it includes the CSS (style.css) 1e6-style.css, the images to go with the site and two .js files

Ive beed messing about on a mates go daddy account as he asked me could i help so i tried... and i was wondering if anyone could help me here

No html, or php files?  There's your problem.

All that really is, is stylesheets, images, and js that composes the theme. You still need to apply it to HTML and/or PHP files. You can try using a premade website software, assuming the godaddy account supports PHP hosting and SQL databases, and that you know how to set up said stuff. If you wanna go the forum route, you can go MyBB or SMF (SMF runs this forum as a small fact xD)
