So, it is Halloween. What is everyone going to do today, on this super fine day?

:VenusDjinni: I'll set out the pumpkins!
:MarsDjinni: I'll light them! I love jack-o-lanterns!
:JupiterDjinni: I'll send shivers down their spines! Surely they'll be spooked this year!
:MercuryDjinni:  I'll substitute the Teawater by the front door for murky water.

Lol.  Me, I'm going to sit around and pretend not to munch on the candy, probably while playing a game of some sort, because I have no life and no focus on this particular day.  Also, Happy Hallow's Eve, everyone.  Just think, tomorrow is All Saints Day.

Honestly, I would've loved to have organized something for Halloween this year, but my teachers thought Halloween was good time to assign, in order:

A Pre-Calc 12 term exam,
A fairly long English 12 project involving an essay,
A Japanese 11 project,
A Japanese 11 term exam.

So I've had absolutely no time to set anything up.

Hurricane Sandy kind of screwed up my Halloween plans. I need to do nothing but make sure that my auxiliary power systems do not fail, as I have a number of devices that must receive electricity at all times.

But, I am not complaining at all, as the communications lines are back up. Which means I can waste time on the internet (Obviously), so I am happy.

Edit: Bloody hell. Now that I have some contact with the outside world, I see how badly other areas were hit. Damn. I made out very well, considering that I was right in the storm's path.

Anyway, happy Halloween!

Oh, that's nice. I was lucky being the one to live in Virginia. I stayed inside the entire time, so it felt almost like an ordinary day. We did have plenty of rain, though. Oh, the power did go out twice,. But they were for a trivial amount of time, so it didn't matter. What's worse? That was like way before the storm was supposed to get worse.

And I spent the day of Halloween sleeping, it seems. My father says we had two trick-or-treaters. (They were both together.) ; Seeing the kit kats on the desk, I assume that's what he was giving out. Who likes Kit Kats, anyway?

Two things.  One, I didn't get hit by any storm, and two, I like Kit Kats.

Kit kats? Hmmm I used to like them until I ate too much that is

I sat at home and ate pizza while my mum got drunk and started pissing me off.

I wish I had some pizza.  I woke up around eight thirty PM, heard we had no trick or treaters this year, then ate some skittles from the candy we had.  Now I sit here slightly hungry and doing nothing in particular.

My Halloween:

Wake up at 2PM.  Holy crap, too much sleep.
Watch 90s Xmen on Netflix for a while.
Saw I'm low on bread - go to get bread.
Store has no bread.  WTF.
Screw it, movie time.  Redbox has Avengers, right?
Blu Ray version.  Eff yeah.
Get some pizza while I'm at it...
And some soda.
Pizza, Dew, and Movie.  Let's do this.
Oh hey, look, it's like 1AM.  Halloween over.


Also, doing nothing is not the same as hating halloween.  Those should be two different options.

Yes, I realize that. I was in a bit of an exaggerating mood at the time, I guess.

...It's not that I don't celebrate it, I just can't afford the costume and don't have the friends to party.  Honestly, you and your exaggerations rendering those options moot...

Well, it was supposed to be a random poll, anyway. Otherwise it would be something like this:

-I'm going partying.
-I'm trick-or-treating.
-I'm handing out candy.
-I'm going to watch movies.
-Nothing much this year.
-Halloween isn't my thing.

with multi-select.

Which probably would have been a better option, IMO.

I'm glad you added the doing nothing option because i literally have nothing in the world to do this week. no where to go, nothing to do.... just sleep eat and internet... soooo boring...

And that's pretty much what I do as well.

I believe you two forgot to add bathroom to the list. Unless y'all like to smell.  Well, it's perfect for Halloween, I guess.

Well, if you are going to add breathing; we might as well add blinking; typing; optionally popping your fingers, toes, and knees; having the hiccups; yawning; scratching your head; and some other trivial stuff.  Like listening to this song:

Usually how my days go.  Random game I feel like playing, a nice cold beverage (non alcoholic thank you.) and usually I'm talking to someone on Skype or something while I procrastinate a few of my projects (much to Zman's chagrin.).

Here in Brazil we don't have the habit of celebrating Halloween. Not anymore, at least.
