Title: Salanewt's late Christmas present.
Post by: zman9000 on 11, January, 2013, 07:56:11 PM
Sala had done some GS hacking and I wanted everyone to have access to them so we could maybe get some activity on the site.

Its finally up for you to download here along with more information (http://forum.goldensunhacking.net/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=47)

The file has 3 different stat type hacks that will make certain things easier to do and a text file for details on it.

If you have any questions once you've had a look at it, post here and I'll get the answers from Salanewt.
Enjoy.

Does the HP% formula work for healing outside of battle? I haven't had a chance to test yet.

Edit: More importantly, how do I actually give an ability the HP% formula? I can't choose any other than the first 11, of course, because the editor doesn't have support for adding formulas.

Yeah I'm not sure on that, Sala had said he made an altered version of the editor for some of the stuff in his hacks, but he didn't give me it.
I'll have to check with him and see if you guys need that or not.

I'll edit this post later with the answer.

Edit:
quote of sala.
If the editor that they are using is unable to edit it, which is incredibly likely, they will need to open up a hex editor and search for it.
If enough people ask for it though, I might post a simple editor "update" that is compatible with it.
Like, 3-4 people.
Of course, I'll just make a guess and say that both you and Jamie want an update, so if you can get about 1-2 more people to ask for it, then I will do what I can when I have free time.

heh well then that makes things easy.

Edit: 2
more sala...
Oh, and it does not work outside of battle... I forgot to test it before making the description .txt file.
