I was looking for the sprites of Hydro's and Lunpa's map from TLA. No result...
I guess I took the picture earlier (for my map) from GS wikia http://goldensun.wikia.com/wiki/Hydros#Story (http://goldensun.wikia.com/wiki/Hydros#Story)...
But I noticed the heads of the party members overlap with the map. So I thought: "There are probably some clean sprites of these maps."
Does anyone know where I can get them?
I checked http://www.goldensun-syndicate.net/sprites/ (http://www.goldensun-syndicate.net/sprites/) and http://www.spriters-resource.com/game_boy_advance/gs2/ (http://www.spriters-resource.com/game_boy_advance/gs2/) already.
It is not a big problem, as I will rip them straight from the game by using the Savestate Encyclopedia, but I think it is strange.
I'm also wondering why nobody ripped the nothern reaches yet... It isn't on any minimap also.
I have now ripped the sprites using the OAM viewer.
I also noticed two other things:
Why it was probably not ripped before:
The maps are sprites. And all the rippers who use Layer disableling may not have been able to get clean rips of these sprites (because as said before the heads are in front of it).
And my new rip reveal another unseen landmass of ancient Weyard!
Last thing: I'm asking someone to contribute these to some kind of sprite database.

It may not seem like it's that much, but every pixel might contain a whole city. Especially since we don't know both maps are on the same scale.

So I just finished trying to recreate the Northern Reaches by changing colours and stuff... (from the orignal 8100x8100 rip map)
It looks @#$%, but it gives us an idea how it looks. :idea:
The problem is that even though we have this map, we still don't know how big the total North is.
B.T.W. I keep forgetting that the middle continent (the seperated one on Hydros' map) is actually Indra and NOT Lemuria.
