Creative Works / Re: Umbra djinni Ideas

You only got to see that conversation if you went back to Hama's house in Contingo again after you reunited the two parties, so it was easy enough to miss.

In any case, Sol and Luna could be light and darkness rather than hot and cold, which would mean that Venus and Mercury are the Luna elements. Either way, it's interesting to note that the Umbra elemets have more healing psynergy than the Sol ones in both cases.

Another option would be for gym badges to just let any pokémon who can learn the move use it in the field, like beating a the first gym allows you to Cut in the field as long as one of your pokémon is capable of learning the move, without having to waste one of your moves slots on a HM you only use to get a few items and shortcuts.

If they rebalance the types, Ice resisting something besides Ice would be nice. Also, my favourite is Fennekin, though I do have a weakness for canine pokemon.

It is possible that anti-djinn could exist (could be the fate of the ones that get sucked into psynergy vortexes), but if I'm reading this right, you're asking if there could be djinn dedicated purely to the fundamental of darkness, which seems unlikely to me. Some djinn seem to embody the Umbra aspect of an element (i.e. Chasm, Shade, Fury), but it doesn't make sense to me that there would be djinn embodying just darkness.

1. I can't really think of many noble things other people have done for me. I guess that my friends talking to me when everyone was treating me like a freak a few years back counts though.

2. I taught half of my Leaving Cert (not sure what the American equivalent is... the exam that affects what college you can get into at the end of high school) music class how to write and read sheet music. Also taught the trombone section of the orchestra the same. And how to play trombone.

Assets & Discussion / Re: Psynergy Variation suggestion

Seems like a good idea, but wouldn't Dragon Fume be better as the caster equivalent of the EPAs? It's kind of pointless once you learn it normally, since more can be achieved with cheaper psynergies.

@Griever, it's 32 in Dark Dawn and 35 in TLA I think.

Welcome to the forums. Also, if you're doing a playthrough of DD, have you found all the encyclopedia entries? There's two 'd's and the last f that I can never seem to find...

goats do have horns and they do love ramming things... so... But still what the hell? is it really that common a problem? lol?
Common enough. My family has a few goats and I have to check on them twice a day.

General Golden Sun / Re: GS4 Possible Characters

I always figured it was Ah as in 'Ah, right', and ri pronounced like spree without the 'sp'. But it's seriously not any worse than some of the names. Even now I'm not sure how to pronounce Eoleo. But yeah, if you mind read

Also, if they have a proxian party member in GS4, d'you think they'll have a dragonform psynergy? I mean, it'd be awesome and all, but everyone in the first two games that turned into a dragon died pretty soon after unless they were refuelled by a lighthouse, so it wouldn't make all that much sense.

It's not really deja vu, but about once a month I have a dream which then happens the next day. It's kind of annoying that it's never anything useful like lotto numbers or something, it's just the next chapter in a book I'm reading or which goat will try attack me when my back's turned. Of course, the problem is that they never seem much different to my normal dreams, so I only remember them after the thing's already happened. So they're not exactly useful.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age / Re: parch is weird

I've always taken it that Parch simply uses the energy already present to evaporate the water, while Arid Heat supplies heat itself. Which would also explain why Parch can be used on the water directly rather than relying on those weird bowls to amplify it.

Misc. GS Hacking / Re: Changing Classes in TLA

It was. Instead of the patch we currently have, which completely seperates them, this one would make it so they keep their dual and tri-elemental classes, but the parties have different base classes.

Well, a different player character has been confirmed. The game starts in the southwest of the region in a previously inaccessible city, and it seems likely that there'll be eight new gyms to fight through, with the original eight as post-league content.

I'd imagine if they did do that, all the pokémon in the BW1 game would be transferred before you start BW2 apart from one or two so you can keep playing. Which would certainly save time in their equivalent of the Pal Park, but it wouldn't really work unless they divided them up somehow.

Quote from: JamietheFlameUser on 19, February, 2012, 06:24:21 AMYou begin the game with your party, player character, and name from your transfer data of the previous game (or some of their canon Pokémon from their Battle Subway + their member of the Tao Trio (Zekrom in White 2, or Reshiram in Black 2), if you don't use transfer data). At the game's start, you start off in a battle against a random trainer, which you promptly own. Then Team Plasma shows up and steals all your Pokémon before you can react. Rushing to the Pokémon centre to grab out new Pokémon, you discover that somehow, your Pokémon are all missing from there, too. This forces you to go to Professor Juniper's lab to get a second starter Pokémon. Then you go off to defeat Plasma Grunts and get your Pokémon back, in order from weakest to strongest, while working to find out how on earth Plasma could have returned already.
This would be a bit silly. I mean, if Plasma could have stolen your pokémon before, wouldn't they have? I'd imagine it's going to be a sequel in the same way the second gen was to the first, with you needing to find the protagonist from the first game and borrow his legendary to fuse with Kyurem.

Though to be honest, I'd much prefer if Ghetsis and Cyrus teamed up and tried to destroy the Creation Trio with the Tao Trio so they could reset the world.

That heal overflow sounds interesting. I'll have to check if going even higher results in damaging the target or restoring small amounts of HP and PP.

Interesting. In the Super Mario Bros Wii game, when he eats Luigi or one of the others, he just spits them out again, or they can jump out of his mouth.

Actually, Yoshis only turn turtles and goomas and the like into eggs. It'll spit out people and Toads and such without a scratch... though they would probably be wet.

Green Yoshi is the best. It's the only one with a driving license.

Will you be adding in the 4th gen evo's like Magmortar and Weavile as well?

Happiness should stay in if you want my opinion. Though if you wanted to be evil, you could try make something only evolve with zero happiness.

Any special plans for gyms by the way?
