Other than fan appeal, what was the point of clone characters?

Dr. Mario is a slower but stronger version of Mario.

Pichu is a faster, but self damaging copy of Pikachu.

Give Ganondorf some new moves because Captain Falcon already showed us his moves.

The Ness lookalike should go.  I just don't like him.

Falco is just meh with me because I don't really care since I don't use him.

The whole throw in every Link from every game in every form I find annoying.  Now yes, I'm a die hard Zelda fan, but spamming a bunch of the same characters with the same move sets from the same game with differently named moves is not original.

The only way to make it original is if it had a pink mohawk and a wheelchair.

I have no opinion on Luigi since he's another one I don't really use.  Sure, the Shoryuken ( _\ V > P ) is powerful and that makes Luigi a dangerous fighter, but whatever happened to figuring out ways to beat that combo?

After all, there's a deadly combo out there using Yoshi.  Jump off ledge, throw an egg, wheel kick back to the ledge, grab on.  Fall off, throw egg, wheel kick, grab ledge.  Rinse and repeat.  Surely someone's found a way to counter this one already?

This prank I pulled worked out great.  I hooked up Beatles Rock Band to my moms bedroom TV and turned on the surround sound and shut off the TV.  In the mic testing area, there is no sound except for what you say into the mic.  I kept the mic in my room covered with a shirt until my mom went to her room.  I suddenly slammed her door shut from the outside and when she said "What the hell?" I grabbed the mic and in the voice of Jigsaw from the Saw Movies:  "Hello ------, do you want to play a game?"

Cue my mom collapsing.  I wish I had the foresight to install a camcorder.  That would have been youtube gold right there.

Another prank to pull is the ol wooden snake that has segments on him so it appears he's slithering.  Tie a small string to the snakes head and find your victim.  Wait for them to sit down or til their distracted and pretend to drop something by them.  Go down to pic your stuff up and discreetly tie the end of the string to their leg.  Hopefully they have socks or shoes on so this can be accomplished.

Walk away like nothing's wrong.  Sit back and enjoy the show.

But I agree about the hand sanitizer things.  I don't use them because like Role said, it weakens the immune system.  Not to mention they smell and I have a hard time breathing with that smell lingering around.  My bro on the other hand uses them constantly.  He's been sick four times since they were installed and I've been fine, only lately suffering from headaches, migraines and body stiffness and this is due to lack of sleep.

Add to it?  How about this, who goes to the doctor, who doesn't, who uses medication for problems?

I don't go to my doctor.  They're all quacks who don't know what they're doing.  You go in for a physical, you come out with five illnesses you've never even heard of and you have to take special steps to increase your health or they give you botched up medications or they get what's ailing you wrong.

A few weeks ago I had to be rushed in because my throat suddenly tightened and I couldn't breath.  I could breath a small bit, but I'd immediately start coughing and hacking up...I guess mucus.  I couldn't tell.

The nurse asked me what's wrong.  I told her I couldn't breath.  I had to wait twenty minutes before being seen and when I went in, she told the doctor I said I have asthma.  asdfghjkl; (exclamation point)

They solved that problem with a breathing thing.

Two days later I went in after feeling sick the day after my throat tightened.  I was getting tested for the swine flu and they told me:  "We're not sure if it's swine flu, but it's definitely the flu."  ...well what use are you guys?

Just as I was walking back to the waiting room, the nurse near me was talking to another woman and said:  "He doesn't even look sick at all.  He's probably faking it."  Cue me puking up a smelly brown stream of bile on the floor and then later into the wastebasket.  "That doesn't look fake to me." The second nurse said before walking away.  "Oh, and you're going to clean that mess up." the second nurse said before vanishing from view.

So I was quarantined for two weeks, which slightly helped my mood, despite how sick I was feeling.

I go by this rule:  If my bodies immune system can handle it, I'm hardly bothered.  If it can't, well now's a perfect time for my body to find a cure.

But about Scribblenauts, I'm reminded of a comic from Penny Arcade.

Guy 1:  You gotta try this Scribblenauts.  See, the whole point is to get Starites.  This Starite is stuck up in a tree.  I can write "beaver" which creates a beaver.  Their hunger for wood is well known.

Guy 2:  So I can write anything?

Guy 1:  Anything you can IMAGINE.

"Starite"  poof!  It appears.

Guy 2:  Are all the levels this easy?

Guy 1:  I can't look at you right now.

Back onto the game topic.  Left 4 Dead 2 has lived up to my expectations and has proven itself to be a great game.  However....the whole L4D2 and L4D sharing servers thing is causing massive freaking lag whenever you play L4D2 online and thus, kills the fun, especially when you run into a room and all of a sudden you're warped back outside running into a wall ten feet away from the door and then you're attacked by all the specials and your team kicks you because they think you're a damn noob.

New Super Mario Bros Wii has been interesting.  It's more or less, Super Mario Bros 3 meets Super Mario World.  Classic mushrooms and fire flower, but now they have new items in it.  Ice Flower, which lets you throw a ball of ice.  Unlike the fireball which kills with one hit and makes a coin, the ice block freezes any enemy and then you can hip smash them and kill them, even spiked enemies.  However, the ice ball only bounces once and has a short range unlike the fireball which bounces 2-3 times and jumps out farther.

Next is the parashroom.  You get a helmet with a rotor and a jumpsuit.  Shaking the wii mote lets you spin and with this suit, you obviously fly upwards.  If you do a hip smash, you'll do a spinning one instead as you float down.

Next is the Mini Shroom.  Regardless of what power you have or what form you are in, this thing shrinks you so much that your regular little form could be considered the mushroom form.  You can run on water and you can jump a bit farther however...you're small.  One touch of anything will kill you, however there are certain pipes that the small form can only grant you access to.

Finally, the Penguin Suit.  It let's you slide on ice, you shoot an ice ball like the ice flower form.  I have yet to even get this suit, but that's what I read it does.

Finally we're getting to everyone's favorite dinosaur, Yoshi.  He pops up in some levels via his egg and you can ride him.  Each player gets a different colored Yoshi but sadly the colors don't do anything special.  Yoshi can eat just about anyone but for some reason he can't swallow Hammer Bros.  He can grab their hammers and spit them back, but that's about it, other than holding jump makes him kick his legs to go higher in the air.  Oh, I almost forgot, you lose him after the level.  Yup.  Once you hit the flag at the end, you hop off and he waves farewell.

I also got Dragon Age Origins, but I promise Role I wouldn't spoil it for her so I won't talk about it.  But know this, it is well worth the investment.

Well that all depends.  I own D3 and I've played the demo to VC.  Both are incredibly great games with the same format, strategy.  However, the play is different.

Disgaea has the panels, move 1 unit, turn based gameplay while Valkyria has more like a token system.  You can have just 1 unit go through the entire level by themself so long as they don't run out of ammo or get shot up too badly by selecting them over and over until your tokens run out and it's the enemies turn.

I would personally say get D3 since I own the game, but you can get a demo of VC on the PSN.

That all depends.  If it's new and in the same year it was released, it stays around sixty bucks.  If I wait a year or people decided to knock the price down, anywhere from thirty to fifty bucks.  If I wait awhile, it'll be on the twenty dollar bin soon, but most of my games were new releases and I had a job then, so yeah, I could easily get them.

When I was working, I got new games every two weeks.  I'll be working again soon after this semester is over.  I'm so sick of college.

I don't keep games I don't like. ^^;  So, yeah.  I like these games for one reason or another, either for its playability, storyline, fan of the franchise or online play.

Total Annihilation is an old computer game, good luck finding it.  It's an war strategy game, but your whole army is a bunch of robots and you get a wide variety of units at your disposal from land, to air to sea.

Yes, I do own all these games.  Yes, they require a lot of room.  I've filled up four huge plastic cabinet things to the brim with games and systems and cords and I've still got a bunch of stuff that is lying around on my tv stand.

If you think my video game collection is huge, you won't want to see my music and movie stands.  >.>;

Random doesn't bother me because it's a way of live.  Insanity isn't a condition, it's a privelidge.

On the first Tactics game I had a small team with a Knight, a Priest and a Wizard.  Pretty good team combo since one was the meat shield, one was strictly healer and one was far range backup.

Of course, over specilization is a very bad thing and if one of my three fell, the others would soon after.  I later came to find good use for Samurai and Lancers.

In Tactics Advanced I used the same six if I could.  Fighter, Ninja, Black Mage, White Mage, Dragoon and Sniper.  I generally tried my best to keep the main characters in these classes as best I could, but sometimes I had no choice but to switch things up from time to time.

I took the Venin Lance from Fire Emblem and recolored it.  I tried to rotate it, but the blade and head no longer matched up and it looked wrong, so I left it as is.
