Indie Game Maker, no, but the editor is mostly programmed in Game Maker.

His face & hands look much better now.  The hair seems a bit odd though, with how far back it is on the left there probably shouldn't  be as much visible on the right.
Huh, really? I didn't know that actually--maybe I'll be able to figure things out though, thanks Atrius. :3

I intended for his hair to be kinda spikey, so I guess that's why it turned out that way.
But if you think I should work on that, I'll see what I can do. 'w'
2  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: December 08, 2010, 04:35:40 AM
It's okay--I just started thinking that the time I spent away from here came back to haunt me. XD

Thanks for the compliment Frog, but there a lot of people better than me--I've come to love what I do, and the fun of it keeps me busy for a while. :3
Besides, I'm sure you could learn pretty well--after all, anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. 'w'

It's okay--I should apologize for posting in the box like that. :<
And funny you should ask if anymore is coming up--because I just revised the previous sprite a bit.

And this time I'll explain what it is--it's one of the playable characters I designed for a classic-styled platformer I want to make. :3
His name is Nat, and his partner, who is the other playable character, is Fang, a hefty Blue wolf.(I've yet to do him, but I'll post him when I do)

By the by, has anyone ever used IG Maker before?(Indie Game Maker) :o
3  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: December 07, 2010, 05:11:09 AM
Well...either nobody noticed, or I'm hated for being gone so long. - -;

I doubt this will change anyone's mind, but...

Can anyone at least let me know what they think of this? ' '?

Oh yeah, by the way--since my above post ate what I was gonna say, WB is planning to release a DVD of Swat Kats the 14th. It's on WBShop, at the link below.,default,pd.html?AID=10811526&PID=3821628
Sadly, it looks like it only ships to the least, from what I understand.(I live in the US, but I'm sad for the people that don't. :<)
4  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: November 22, 2010, 09:15:14 PM
Sorry everybody--seems like I fell off the edge of the world since I've been gone so long.
I've gotten rather...sidetracked from that test, and wound up forgetting about it for a little while. < <;
Rest assured, I'll get to it soon enough--that is, if it's still available. :o

Anywho, I've got a lot of stuff to show you guys since I've been gone so long, so I'll try to keep explanations short and sweet. ^ ^;

This is Shing, the main character of Tales of Hearts.

And Kohak, his love interest. :3

This would be the(almost)final look for Link--I just need to fix up his clothes on the moving sprites.

These two are two of three characters I've designed for something that takes place in the SK universe--I'll save the explanation for now, since I don't want to stretch this too much.*But if you're curious, feel free to ask* < <;

Slight update on these three--cameo costumes~*the last ones--even Corey and Nicki have one*

Sorry again for just dropping out like that--I'll try to come here more often. ^ ^;

Also, a shameless plug for any SK fans--WB is planning on
5  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: July 03, 2010, 01:28:34 AM
So...I'm still a little worried with that challenge, but I will try it soon.
But, since I'm still on my SK binge--

I added an outfit for each based on a piece by DatingWally on DA.(I couldn't find any contact, so I had to leave a comment on his response yet though.)
Also, I edited T-Bone and Razor to make they're Dark sides(obvious reference, is obvious)since I already had the originals done.

Any advice/critique would be appreciated.
6  The Community / Tech, Gaming and Entertainment / Re: Magical Starsign on: June 21, 2010, 11:35:26 PM
Ah, so that's what the Cat set does...I might do that sometime as an experiment--thanks Jamie. :3

As for the chests, I honestly have no idea. I wish I did though. D:

Spoiler for Hidden:
For my favorite funny, it's when you save Chai after having Pico in your party--he and Lassi get in an argument, where he calls her a 'Wind sock', and she calls him a 'Hot wing'...I laughed so hard. XD
7  The Community / Tech, Gaming and Entertainment / Re: Magical Starsign on: June 21, 2010, 01:53:17 PM
Really? I never used the Cat set, so I don't know what it does. :o

And I agree, some other characters besides the main party, or amigos would've been nice. < <;
Spoiler for Hidden:
I mean, after all Ganache, and some of the Vacation characters got mentioned in the final world.
8  The Community / Tech, Gaming and Entertainment / Re: Magical Starsign on: June 21, 2010, 05:08:29 AM
Y'know, this talk about erased files reminds me I accidentally deleted my Male file.
Spoiler for Hidden:
...I had just finished the Tree and got the Millenium Gummy too. :(
Either way though, I'm gonna try to beat the game, then maybe try beating Vacation since I imported it from PlayAsia.

By the way, of all the characters in the game, who was your most favorite?
Mine would probably be Lassi, since she's the closest thing to a playable Cat as far as I can tell. X3
9  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 21, 2010, 05:03:01 AM
I have a topic for Magical Starsign in the Tech Gaming and Entertainment section. Perhaps you'd like to check that out?
Sure--I think I will. Thanks Jamie for letting me know. :3
10  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 21, 2010, 03:31:14 AM

And awesomeness.
I know it, I loved Starsign a lot. I'm just a little sad Vacation didn't get so lucky...well, it had stickers and trophies in Brawl, so maybe it might get a chance someday. ^w^

I'm actually not completely done with the overworld yet, but I'll put it on hold to try that challenge Role issued...I wonder if I can do it though? :o
11  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 19, 2010, 07:48:17 PM
"We won't know until we try!"

It's the catchphrase of the hero of Suikoden Tierkreis. XD
Oh, so it was the main character of the DS one then.
I didn't know that at first--mainly because I've never played Suikoden before. ^ ^;

Either way, I guess that's just the way I am--I shouldn't say it'll turn out good or bad, and wait and see how it goes. 'w'

This was something I did(and added onto) before receiving that challenge.

The style is Magical Vacation--the precursor to Starsign, and sadly is a Japan only GBA game.(But at least it got some stickers/trophies in SSBB)
12  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 18, 2010, 09:32:55 PM
...You're not secretly the main character of a certain suikoden game for the DS, are you?
Eh? Last I checked I wasn't.
Why? Did one of them talk kinda like I do? :o
13  The Community / Creative Works / Re: Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 18, 2010, 02:49:39 PM
My god, Swat Kats... I loved that show.  Alas, unfortunately we're stuck with the crap they're putting out today... T-T

Anywho, I've got a test for you.  Do you think you can do a battle sprite of one of the characters in the Community Hack threads?  Any one will do, Logan, Sakum, Ila, etc... Just chose one and go with it.  You don't have to make sprites for every weapon they have - just their 'signature' weapon.  For example, Kari's Longsword, Ila's Ankh, etc...

I'm looking for a sprite 64x64 pixels in size (just like they are when you look at them in the editor), done in the style of the Golden Sun games, and fully animated.  I also want you to do one for three poses of the character you chose:  Battle Ready, Attacking, and Casting.

Using Felix as an example:

Felix Battle ReadyFelix AttackingFelix Casting

...Forgive the speed if you're using Firefox, they move too fast in that browser.

Anywho, if I like what I see, I'll have you made an Official Community Hack Artist.
I know--there just seems to be so much less to watch nowadays. D:

As for the challenge, I--can't promise how well I'll do, but I won't know until I try. 'w'
14  The Community / Creative Works / Shibuyah's sprite thread on: June 17, 2010, 09:45:17 PM
Hey guys, sorry I didn't get this made sooner. I got a bit sidetracked, not to mention several things I'd like to post are elsewhere at the moment. ' ';
..But I do have some things I'd like you to see, so at least it's something. ^ ^;

My take on Link for a LttP hack I have planned--still working on the bodies, and not to mention the falling sprites.

Chase Skyler, and OC for a Swat Kats story I'd like to write.

Fia Meldrin, another OC.

Tina Feral, yet another OC...Well, at least I haven't made a hundred. < <;

The pair here are actually a couple of Chase' and Fia's children in the future--Yuis, the blue haired one is soft spoken and very polite, sometimes coming across as feminine.
His sister however, well...she's got a bit of an attitude, but she isn't a total hot-head. ^ ^;

And this here is an attempt at Pocky and Rocky style(Far right)...for the Ninja though, I recolored her to fit the artwork seen in-game in the second one.

...I'm afraid that's all I have for now--but anything new I make, I'll show it to you guys and see what you think. :3
15  The Community / Introductions / Re: Uh, hello there. ^ ^; on: June 16, 2010, 04:32:28 AM
It's okay, I don't mind really--you see, in my life, I've always been late getting somewhere, so I don't mind at all. ^ ^;
But regardless, thanks for the welcome. :3

I don't mind Corvidae, I just appreciate the fact that you guys welcome me so kindly. ^w^

Thanks Maxi, and that's pretty neat about there only being one different letter in our real names. :3

Thanks Menaus for the welcome. 'w'

Thanks Whiz, I'll do my best to follow them. :3
16  The Community / Introductions / Re: Uh, hello there. ^ ^; on: June 13, 2010, 05:25:14 PM
Wow...I'm not sure I'd do so well with it since I've never learned anything about Modeling.
I'll probably try by pixel, but it might wind up looking more animated than the normal style. ^ ^;
But thanks for the info Atrius, it's interesting to know how you can do it that way. :3
17  The Community / Introductions / Re: Uh, hello there. ^ ^; on: June 13, 2010, 04:46:44 PM
As it so happens, I did--I do admit that Jake's hands are recycled from a different character I had made, but that was because they were giving me so much trouble. < <;

Wow, really? If you hadn't told me that, I wouldn't have known. ' ';
How hard was that to do though? :o
18  Golden Sun Resources / The Classic GS Editor / Re: A thought? on: June 13, 2010, 04:42:09 PM
Oh...sorry, I guess I should've looked for it. Sorry for the trouble. < <;

Okay, thanks for letting me know. :3

Ah, I think I get it--so basically it's more complex than other games, where they have separate palettes for the most part?
19  Golden Sun Resources / The Classic GS Editor / A thought? on: June 13, 2010, 05:07:30 AM
I hope this won't be a problem, but I do have a request for a future thing for editor.(Unless it's already planned, then you can disregard this. < <; )

If it isn't too much trouble, would there be a sprite extraction/insertion feature? Possibly even something to modify a character's palette for a different character?

..If this sounds like a problem, I'm sorry--it was something I had been thinking about the other day. ' ';
20  The Community / Introductions / Re: Uh, hello there. ^ ^; on: June 13, 2010, 05:03:16 AM
Thanks, I'm enjoying it so far. As for the flowers, no need to worry--I like looking at flowers, so that'd probably be the most I do if that's okay with you. 'w';

Thanks, I'm glad you like them. I'm actually considering attempting Golden Sun style if I can, I'm just a little worried how the colors would work out, since they look a little 3D-ish. ^ ^;

Fox: Even just plain Editor work can make some difference. = At least these forums are indexed on the Search engine. I was also curious about whether to um... go through all the topics on these forums and take all the important stuff out/placed into a folder for a bit of organization. Would be a bonus since if something ever happened to this forum, or if we ever wanted to start afresh again, it wouldn't be that difficult to do so.
December 24, 2019, 09:23:03 PM
Fox: One thing is for sure. This place has become completely dead. (Mostly because of Discord.)  = I don't think much will happen with this forum unless I, Salanewt, or someone else does a thing.
December 24, 2019, 09:18:05 PM
Fox: Probably not?
December 24, 2019, 06:51:08 PM
Luna_blade: I suppose this is the last Christmas of this forum?
December 24, 2019, 06:50:51 PM
Luna_blade: Yay thanks for the coins
December 19, 2019, 04:39:45 AM
Fox: Okay, another thought... "gsmagic" could be the code name/project name... and "Golden Sun Magic" could be the more formal official name... (As in using both names.)  -  I still need to look into these other games as well... so who knows if it could be better to call it Camelot Magic if those should ever be supported to a decent standard.  Would probably be a long time from now, though. As I can be pretty lazy.
December 18, 2019, 10:01:39 PM
Foreclosure: gsmagic is fine
December 17, 2019, 05:44:32 PM
Fox: Also. I call my program "gsmagic" and not "GSMagic" =P (Not asking for correction/I being silly)... Had to call it something, so picked something short.  Maybe I should rename it to Golden Sun Magic later. *shrug*
December 17, 2019, 05:35:04 PM
Fox: (And "Golden Sun" instead of "GS" to reduce confusion that would likely not be there anyway... when "Golden Sun" doesn't take up much space to start with. (Imagine being new and thinking GS meant GameShark, or some other oddity. Ew.)) - All just thoughts...I'm still going with most of this not mattering that much, though.
December 17, 2019, 05:12:55 PM
Fox: "Misc. GS Hacking" = That name looks odd, so I'd probably just go with "Golden Sun Hacking"
December 17, 2019, 05:08:05 PM
Fox: I tempted to also suggest the Editors can go in the first category. Since the Editor is the reason this place exists in the first place. (I think.)
December 17, 2019, 04:53:19 PM
Fox: (combined = Not meant to be taken literally... but rather.... to generalize things more, since it apparently looks like we don't need the extra space no one is using.)
December 17, 2019, 04:48:49 PM
Fox: Worse still... we've only used those for Golden Sun content.... and there's not much there.
December 17, 2019, 04:45:53 PM
Fox: E.g. Maybe everything in "Assets & Discussion" could be combined with "Creative Works".... I don't feel like sound and art apply to general hacking anyway... that only comes into play when you have tools to insert them.
December 17, 2019, 04:40:26 PM
Fox: categories and/or forums
December 17, 2019, 04:36:48 PM
Fox: Everything else seems to be about right, though. Perhaps some categories could be combined(?), but doesn't really matter that much.
December 17, 2019, 04:33:03 PM
Fox: (I still think The Community section fits best at the bottom. =P)
December 15, 2019, 05:10:04 PM
Salanewt: Heya! I'm planning to get the demo up today, but if you can't wait then it's already available on the Discord.
December 15, 2019, 04:12:27 AM
Fox: (Then sell the badges on the Trade Center for a very high price... and give a lot of active people coins to buy them with, so they can basically transfer the coins to me if they want something... Gosh I could be a naughty hoarder. =P)
December 15, 2019, 04:06:19 AM
Fox: I'd buy up all the stock for each item too... but man... I think I'm too lazy for that. =P
December 15, 2019, 04:01:24 AM
Fox: There we go. That should be all of them.
December 15, 2019, 03:25:32 AM
Fox: Duplicates will still show up as separate entries on the profile as well. Interestingly enough.
December 15, 2019, 03:18:25 AM
Fox: (Well, one of each badge, at least.)
December 15, 2019, 03:18:08 AM
Fox: Now I can buy up the whole shop. :3
December 14, 2019, 08:58:08 PM
Foreclosure: Guys, I really want to see the AI overhaul demo... please fast! :D hehehe
December 14, 2019, 08:57:33 PM
Foreclosure: I sent 2 thousand coins for ya bro
December 14, 2019, 01:31:38 AM
Fox: In my opinion, even with the old system where it was set up so you could only coin people once per hour... I think it would have been far more fair if we could have also coined ourselves hourly.... since people have favoritism for certain people.... I feel like that could mitigate it some. At least to get badges that people care about the most. - Unlimited coining sounds like a step further than that, which is interesting... :)
December 14, 2019, 01:12:00 AM
Fox: Do note, that people can't coin themselves... but I feel if you got someone who's willing to transfer the coins you give them back to you... it is as though you have that coin option on yourself anyway....
December 14, 2019, 01:07:29 AM
Fox: Go to any of my forum posts, look for where it says Coins... under that, you'll see [increase] , clicking that will give me coins. You won't lose anything for doing so. Click it as much as you like... Under that, you should see Send Money (a faster option if you got the coins). Use that link to transfer your coins to me of any amount you want. (e.g. Put in 2000, means I get 2000, you lose 2000... but if I've already given you 2000+, you don't really have to see it as actually losing anything.)
December 13, 2019, 03:42:39 PM
Foreclosure: How do I return favor, sir?
