So the other day I was talking with my Programming teacher and an idea came in my mind.
"Let's load image in game from the game's code."
So the idea follows - We take the image's data and transform it into HEX code. Then we write an array of each hex value for the image, then we load the image from Array into the game and we have our sprite.

PROJECTS & GAMES
what's the difference?
Projects are mostly some programming things that not everyone would be interested into while games contain no code but instead some info about games I've made, tried to make and will make.

Well as the most recent interesting project I've started was ReSaNa DOS
Small C program supposed to work like an OS.
I don't plan to make it for any while longer but once the final things will be attached to it, I'll Upload the project and will send out as an open source program.

I'm always welcoming some interesting ideas and thoughts about what should be done better.
Well then, here I shall end the introduction for the castle, please pay a visit there and tell me what else I can do cool to make the castle look better. (I mean the content, the design is my own decision)

Fire Emblem:The Velvet shadow is Fan made game which is in progress. The creators of this project are working hard in Skype group. However we can't do everything on our own so I decided to ask for help. In return... I'll credit each one of you who helped me and his help was really needed. So you may have some questions now don't you?

1.What's FEXP?

FEXP is Fire emblem engine made by BwdYeti. The engine is based on rpg maker XP built. If you are interested into this engine and want to try making something yourself... forums.bwdyeti.com/index.php?showtopic=433 Don't do that I am the only one who may use FEXP!

2.How should I make that type of animation?

Story so far...
The story starts at forest where a young man named Wolfram, one of the Lords of Lairia, is on the way to Grandfolga to visit the good friend the prince of Grandfolga. However he was greeted not by Grandfolga military nor the royal family but the Brigands of Grandfolga. In the battle he meets a young woman named Aisuko. The meeting at capital of Grandfolga isn't so good as his own country the Lairians are attacking them. Now The young Lord must pick up arms and fight against his own country and the hardest pain is that he have to face His own half-brother... What made the king of Lairia the Brother to fight Grandfolga and why he wanted Wolfram deed... what's the point of this war and who's behind this all... Those are the questions which are always in the mind of Lord Wolfram. But when he gets stronger his dark side reveals itself... and who is this dark side of Wolfram...Who is the one sleeping within him... And the war against the close friends and his own people begins.... And no man can say who shall be victorious.

Animation formatting


Well in FEXP I can't insert animation date from Rom so I ask for help. This is the most important task. I want you to make animation into one gif. Gif Sizes are 192X192 and in it I need normal + Crit Frames.

FE6 Aircalibur(each frame seperate. not in one big sheet!)

Eclipse (each frame seperate. not in one big sheet! The same goes for BG stuff)

FE8 skill activation (you can format this one in sheet if you want)

 

You can make spritesheet but I advice to do them like animations

It's been a while everyone. I come here because I seek any help I can get. What I want to do is make Midi system(I will call it like that) in RPG maker XP. That is in my game so it would use it's own instruments. But how does it work in actual Roms and if someone can help then tell me how could I code it in RPG maker XP game? Well? Also this might be helpful with GS engine creating.

Well I think that this game can turn out to be awesome and we don't have to use engine to make our game.
We can use RPG maker xp, vx or VX ace and make it like clasic rpg game like Dragon quest.
We can add animations (spell) to make it epic and simple make good story.
Tell what do you all think about this.

4/18/2014:  3 forum members decide they want to pick up the project again, and they're uncertain of whether to continue where the previous efforts left off, or to start anew.  They have no idea what they want to build, or how they're going to build it.  As that changes, I'll update this first post.

4/23/2014: Misery 'senpai' and others are going to look back through the old Dimensional Crisis work and see if there's anything to salvage. KyleRunner is going to look at how RPG Maker may be used and improved.  Mission and scope have yet to be determined.

4/28/2014: People are trying to figure out how best to contribute and make use of Joao's GS Remake project in RPG Maker VX.  Joao has joined the forums.  Traffic to the site seems to have temporarily increased, as old members resurface.

4/28/2014:Saturos start writing scenario. He asks for help and he revices good ideas from Thunder-squall Luna Blade and Rolina.

5/28/2014:Saturos and Luna_blade continue work after moving to the new board.

7/1/2014:Joao publishes his work with rpg tools.

Fox: Okay. Posted (in Downloads section) an initial cutdown version for now, for my text compressor. Basically to separate the code from my Editor for anyone who wants to mess with it. It only supports GS2, because I still didn't add the addresses/etc. for the other games.

Fox: If you want to make it "permanent" (part of a hack), then you'd edit code in the ROM that writes to this location of the IDs you'd want to change. (You can find these locations by using a breakpoint debugger like SDL-H or no$gba.)

Fox: Reload/switch = Recommended to be done through Debug mode/warp menu, ofcourse... since doors seem to appear as if they were disabled? ; 03001238:01 and B+Start to get to warp menu.

Fox: @Kyle Runner = It might be, but you'd have to use the correct addresses for Mario Golf, rather than for GS2 as I have it right now. ; @raijinken = Yes. 02000454 = ID of leader. (Change this and reload/switch room you are in, enjoy.)

(These cause tile replacements, and setting event 0 to those tiles.) - And I guess this kept here so it can be scanned after battle. (To re-update the map.) So here is my fun thought (assuming if it is even possible, or even convenient if so.) ... Are there any events from other maps that could be disabled do to using Cyclone on bushes + Retreat glitch? I'll need to do some testing to make sure this isn't an oversight on my
