1  The Community / Debates / Re: To Kill a Something on: October 20, 2014, 10:02:53 AM
Here I am, posting another late reply.

My argument is simple, abortion is not murder
- the birth is an absolute future, the baby can dies before the birth.
- Abortion is a personnal choice
- people have the right to do what they want with theirs sexual organ.

Sorry FOX: but I oppose strongly stand your grounds laws, just because someone stole from you, does not mean you have to administer your own justice, you should instead get help from the state and proceed to a trials.

Oh, I feel like a zealot anti-abortion activist right now. Just because the baby has a (probably) high chance of dying before birth, that doesn't mean you can kill it. Abortion, like any choice such as Murder, is a personnal choice. I can keep, steal or murder anything I can as long as I want to or need to. A baby , even before birth, is another life. You just can't treat it as a disposable parasite sucking in your sexual organ(s).

I do understand and agree that a person has no right to administer his or her own judgement. If a person does something, there will be something in return for him. A lot of proverbs and sayings has proved that.

For some (or several, I really don't know) reasons, I agree with Wolf.
3  The Community / Debates / Re: To Kill a Something on: October 19, 2014, 10:48:46 AM
Oh yeah. The rule of karma....

And for Death Penalty,  I only want to apply this to people who do extremely vile crimes and are obviously (or at least proven) guilty.

Greetings, newcomer!

Welcome to our little ghost town. It's not entirely ghostly though. Enjoy your time here for now!
5  The Editor / Golden Sun Hacking / Re: Treasure Guide: What's Inside the Treasure... on: October 19, 2014, 03:07:17 AM
This little minor guide is purely for convenience.

0000 = Location index.
0F00 = For this to be avaible, this flag must be off in the flags. When the item is retrieved, the flag is set.  If 1F00, then the item is always available only when the flag is set. (The flag is never unset.) It doesn’t seem like you can use 1*** when you have a flag value in the header.

00B4 = The actual item you’ll get. 8*** for coins. (Or which mimic you fight,/ ignored of Psynergy stone/summon if tablet.)

As you already knew, in the underlined/bold/italicized line is all about the actual item you'll get. Changing that pointer or value or whatever it is will also change the item in the chest. For example, If you change the pointer from 00B4 to 00B5 in Venus Lighthouse. The item you can scavenge in the chest will change from herb to a nut. By reading this minor guide, you no longer need to memorize every "variable" an item has.
6  The Editor / Golden Sun Hacking / Treasure Guide: What's Inside the Treasure... on: October 18, 2014, 05:18:54 PM
Good Day, Everybody! Do you want to change the contents of the chests scattered across Weyard? This guide can help you.

This guide is related to this one: http://forum.goldensunhacking.net/index.php?topic=2002.15 . What you will read here is a list of items and their given variables.
This can help you identify the item you actually get from chests. Instead of memorizing every single variable of the items,
You can just view the item and its variable in this list.

I wonder what will happen should I tamper with those "collision stuffs" *cackles maniacally*

Edit:

On the other hand, I am not wishing for glitches and crashes to happen and oh so lazy on copy/pasting unmodified roms.
8  The Community / Debates / Re: To Kill a Something on: October 18, 2014, 02:55:44 PM
Whew, so much tension here. Oh well, allow me to speak briefly about what I have felt about this:

Quote
there is no reason to kill, but abortions is not killing something
if ever the mother were to have an accident or her baby dies in her woob, should we accuse her of homicide ?
just because the woman is pregnant, it does not mean the baby will survive all 9 months in
Doctors in Canada always allow abortion as long it does not place the life of the woman in danger, I believe this is the code we should respect. we have no need for a law on abortions,

If you ask me, I oppose your ideas. Abortion, would it be accidental or with consent, is roughly equal to killing. It is about deliberately removing a baby from the womb of a woman, thus "murdering" the baby. A baby, albeit unborn, still has life and is human. A baby dying in the womb of an unfortunate mother is entirely different from abortion . Still, I will consider consider specific exceptions though (e.g. a sick/frail/weakened woman incapable of giving birth). Ironically, I didn't really care much about laws concerning abortions. It's all up to principles and conscience.

9  The Community / Voting Polls / Re: Favourite Kind Of Djinn on: October 14, 2014, 08:24:11 AM
Objection, your honor! I have never seen a Jupiter Djinn flying above a tall cliff nor can it jump above a big candle of flame! XD

BTW I guess all djinni can fly as high as they can.. Just look at the 4 weakest summons..

Edit / Extras:

Don't get me wrong... Jupiter Djinn (or djinni, don't blame me...) are my second favorite. I think they're cute and "robotic".
10  The Community / Voting Polls / Re: Favourite Kind Of Djinn on: October 08, 2014, 09:44:33 AM
Jupiter Djinni Because... they're so cute... I want to jump in the air squeezing this small air rob - er... Jupiter Djinn  Joy

Venus Djinni Set So Cute!!! They're so fat and way cuter than the  Mercury Djinni or  Mars Djinni or even the  Venus DjinniJoy

  Mars Djinni Set Um...

Mercury Djinni Set  Um... They look like frogs to me....

I thank you for reading my example, hope it helps...
12  Golden Sun Hacking Community / Feedback / Re: Favorite Character on: October 06, 2014, 07:46:36 AM
I see...

By the way, I find Garet the most appealing character wise, he is not as stupid as his half-assed son. I only choose Jenna by her looks, stats, and base class.

Edit:

By the way, I am glad that there are a couple of people who participated in this "vote". Thank you!

13  The Community / Voting Polls / Re: So, do you want a fourth Golden Sun? on: October 05, 2014, 11:45:38 AM
I really love to see a new golden sun game! Hope it's not like Dark Dawn though.
14  Golden Sun Hacking Community / Feedback / Re: Favorite Character on: October 05, 2014, 11:37:44 AM
Forgive me but I really can't see Isaac and Saturos being brothers....... You can edit Garet with Saturos in the sprite editor though....

Edit or Extra:

Don't get me wrong! Saturos is cool and hot!
15  Golden Sun Games / General Golden Sun / Re: Fighting Styles and Golden Sun on: October 05, 2014, 04:15:19 AM
Um... I have never thought of that.....  Um... I have misunderstood the concept all the time...

Okay, I will try making a new Fighting Style. Hope I won't fail.....

Trapper's Arsenal......

Riv Mar'sia is a trapper. She abuses and experiments with her powers ( Halt and Mind Read) to keep her enemies in place cornered and defenseless. By doing this, she can attack her foes with minimal concern about evasion and counters. She also employed poisons to inflict pain to her victims. Despite her advantages as a trapper, she has two main weaknesses. She is weak statistically. She also lacked powerful power spells and AOE Psynergies. Considering her weaknesses, she is incapable in open combats. In fact she only relied on her "traps" and poisons to subdue and finish her opponents.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Her first three abilities are the results of her using the Mind Read and Halt spell connectively.

Precision - Reduces the chance of an enemy avoiding her physical, unleash or power spell attacks. Costs X Psy...

Mind Numb - Attack the mind of a target enemy, numbing his thoughts and wills. The target and the caster is paralyzed. The stunned caster can only keep or cancel the power. Enemies that can move several times per turn will lose one of their turns. Consumes heavy PP.

Psynergy Spreading - Halts the target for a short while before casting a base power psynergy, therefore drastically reducing the chance of the target to avoid and possibly counter. Her Halt - Psynergy casting takes time so her agility is reduced to half at the turn she will be using this tech.

In addition to her Accuracy-related spells, she can also conjure magical poisons that can be used against her enemies.

Vile Poison - Inflicts deadly poison yet increase the damage of the target. The target can either attack his allies or his enemies.

Bind Poison - Inflicts minor poison and reduces agility yet increase the defense of the target...

That's all, for now....
