Hey guys, it's been a long time.
I've been studying traditional animation this whole year if you
were wondering where I went (probably not).

Anyways, I was thinking of playing around with the editor and
I was wondering where I could find the game's color palette, or
don't I need to use their palette? Also, I was wondering about
the dimensions of the character portrait sprite and in game sprites?

I was thinking of replacing whoever with my own sprite and animate
it too. Thanks for any help.

If you guys search everything thoroughly like me and like to absorb all the elements of the game.
Did you notice that in every house in any town that has a stove, they cook different meals relevant to their area?
Some of them actually do sound really nice.  Happy

Hey guys, my name's Chris.
I'm 17, and have been a Golden Sun addict since childhood. I recently got Dark Dawn for Christmas which is pretty sweet.
Over the years I've seen AtriusV's and other people's videos on Youtube which first led me to begin learning how to use Cheat Engine
because I'm no super hacker. I can write and play music (Any style of guitar, bass of course and piano), I draw, I'm doing a course on
animation, I've been learning pixel art and I know a bit of ActionScript in Flash, which I'm going to be making my first of several test
games for tile based programming soon. I want to learn all the cool jazz you guys do here on this forum if it's even possible for my simple
mind. That's about all I can think of now, peace!

Fox: Okay. Posted (in Downloads section) an initial cutdown version for now, for my text compressor. Basically to separate the code from my Editor for anyone who wants to mess with it. It only supports GS2, because I still didn't add the addresses/etc. for the other games.

Fox: Okay! Going to need to think how I want it to work. Initial thoughts is maybe have a number of arguments in the filepath thing. And have a number of shortcuts (files) to be used as examples. Assuming there are no problems.

Fox: If you want to make it "permanent" (part of a hack), then you'd edit code in the ROM that writes to this location of the IDs you'd want to change. (You can find these locations by using a breakpoint debugger like SDL-H or no$gba.)

Fox: Reload/switch = Recommended to be done through Debug mode/warp menu, ofcourse... since doors seem to appear as if they were disabled? ; 03001238:01 and B+Start to get to warp menu.

Fox: @Kyle Runner = It might be, but you'd have to use the correct addresses for Mario Golf, rather than for GS2 as I have it right now. ; @raijinken = Yes. 02000454 = ID of leader. (Change this and reload/switch room you are in, enjoy.)
