I'm Marin, and I digitally arrange music. That is to say I take note sheets and cook them up into awesome for your ears. At some point or another I'll be putting my work up to be listened to. The first 20 submissions predate my joining here by quite a bit. If you go through and listen to them, especially the 8 bit tracks, you'll actually be able to see the progress I made in that time. I do like feedback, just don't be cruel. I make music because I love it. My dreams are that one day my music will become popular and enjoyed by many. If you want to see my new releases, check this post here. I will not be posting the links to my music in other posts. Everything I make is free to download, free to use, just as long as nobody claims they made it instead of me. That'd just be cruel. I also take requests! Though I can't do everything and I generally only release something if it sounds very good to me. anyway. I'm going to list all my creations below, along with with links to various different places you can listen to the same thing at. I don't know why. Why not? Maybe someone has trouble viewing them at one place. They're in order from oldest to newest. I've made a lot more than these, but never released them.

I do requests, and don't have any VS instruments currently. Apparently someone ripped them for free use though so go ahead! I must give warning though. Dark Dawn does some crazy shizzle it's instrument samples before they are actually used. That being said I probably can't emulate what the game does to them. I can however try to make a GS1/2 sounding piece.

But yeah, shoot. Tell me in PM/I'M if you feel like it.

Anywho, there's many songs I'd love to hear... I can link you to d/l links.  There's no midis or wavs to convert, so I've been really hoping to find someone willing to compose.

I don't really write music much. I just play it. Master it. Etcetera. My creativity in writing music isn't all that glorious, and the program I use isn't very easy to write with anyway.

If you go to Genesis Prototype - Active, that was an original collab between me and a friend from another site though!

Ah... I see you like the older sounds. I listened to a few of your remixes, and they sounded nice. Not hugely a fan of old-style remixes, though.

@Role: I'm pretty sure I've told you this before, but I could probably arrange midis for the eternal sonata songs (some of them, anyway), which is just one quick import away from being in GS. They're a lot less tricky to figure out what's going on than the end of eternity/resonance of fate songs, which had a lot of different things happening at once. Just don't expect me to be able to do it quickly, by any means.

8-bit is awesome.  Any chance of saying where you've acquired the Megaman X instruments?  The X series is my favorite of them all and having them would be very useful.  =3

For SNES games, y'know what an SPC is? It's a SNES music file that lets you play SNES music on certain media players? Well, there's a tool that can literally extract the sound samples straight from SPC files. It's very neat and effective. Buggy and old though. Crashes a lot. Does the job though.

I'm bumping my thread because I've added a new arrangement to my list. (It's okay if I just put the new arrangements in my first post as an edit right? It's just so much neater than putting them in their own posts.)

The newest Arrangement is Cynthia's Battle theme from Pokemon D/P/P and B/W in 8 bit. I really dished out a lot of different tools making it, so I'm proud.

Aye, according to the rules, if the subject matter of a thread is something like this (art, music, etc... You know, creative works stuff) then the person/people contributing to it can poly post as much content as needed.  This way you can have things like chapters in a story, separate images by category, etc...

It also allows for placeholder posts meant for when you add something later.  So there's no need to bump at all.  Just add what you're going to add to the new post, saying "Hey, here's some new stuff" or something, and then add it to the master list in the first post.
