how do i add a new image/sprite?

ok i am trying to do a hack to the game but i can't seem to figure out how to add a new image or sprite to the game, let's say that i want to add an image i have to the game but i dont know how can anyone tell me how?

We can't do this yet.  Sprite editing is coming in 0.5, and adding whole sprites may not come until either 0.6+ or the ASM editor, depending on what it requires.

However, there's still quite a bit of extra space and duplicate sprites you can safely replace.

Mind telling us the game? Depending on whether or not its compressed, and the compression method, it is different. For example, the Pokemon battle sprites (in the GBA games at least) are compressed through LZ77 algorithm, while the overworld sprites are uncompressed.

Golden Sun sprites have their own, unique compression method and Atrius is working on a way to make it so its easy for everyone to edit.
