This is Garet you can think of him as Cirno from Touhou, though not as cute, because to the fandom of their games, they're idiots.

Now, in Japan, the first Golden Sun game is known as Ougon no Taiyou: Hirakareshi Fuuin, or Golden Sun, The Broken Seal.

The game was just called golden sun, even my brother called it that. So, The Broken Seal is new to me.

Jiten, where the hell are you from? You have Japanese under your name and in your sig, so I thought you were Japanese, but you've never heard GS 1 being called Golden Sun: The Broken Seal, so where are you from?
