For all you spriters out there, I've also managed to nab the psynergy from DD.  Interstingly, there was a alt colored plasma in the code (if my source is to be believed).  I've arranged them, as well as added a few helpful spriting tools (background, scroll icons - did the mercury one myself.)



I'll be putting this up in the first post as well.

Mercury DOES get Cloak after all, and that's a really ninja-y spell.

And I know this ain't the place, but I found, if I remembered right, by messing with AR codes, that the Umbra Gear has a shop price. Forgot how much each piece was, and I lost my AR, but it's there. In my copy at least, don't know about yours.

True, but the way that you worded it made it sound a bit different than what you explained... At least, I had to read it a few times to make sure that I understood that last sentence.

You know, looking at this, it's kind of jarring how few spells mercury has...  Let's have a goal to get roughly even spellcounts per element in our hacks, guys!

Hey, guys, I'm thinking of redoing a lot of the existing/canon sprites, such as the healing ones, to try and imitate their DD counterparts, or at least differentiate some of them, such as the healing ones.  What are your thoughts on the idea?

Sounds like a nice idea, how about you do one of the icons and post the old and new icons for us to see? that should help you decide whether its actually worth it or not.

Fox: Okay. Posted (in Downloads section) an initial cutdown version for now, for my text compressor. Basically to separate the code from my Editor for anyone who wants to mess with it. It only supports GS2, because I still didn't add the addresses/etc. for the other games.

Fox: If you want to make it "permanent" (part of a hack), then you'd edit code in the ROM that writes to this location of the IDs you'd want to change. (You can find these locations by using a breakpoint debugger like SDL-H or no$gba.)
