Also, please limit it to one post per person. (Unless you manage to hit the limit for how much stuff you can type, but then you've probably got too many characters or too much description. We don't need walls of text describing every last detail of their personality (we can find that out in RPs), though general stuff is nice.)

Appearance: Tall and a bit on the slim side. Has a bit of a tan, and mid-length light green hair. Can often be seen wearing stormy purple, electric yellow, and white.
Race: Human
Personality: Generally upbeat, slightly snarky, and not one to pass up a good opportunity to lightly tease someone (as long as she knows that person). She likes to keep in touch with friends, and so generally keeps Psychic Pokemon around because she can mind link with them, or have them mind link her to others. She has a thing for Electric attacks.
Homeland: Sinnoh.
Strengths: Water-, Fighting-, Poison-, and Rock-types.
Weaknesses: Dark-, Fire-, Ground-, and Ghost-types. Also, despite liking Electric attacks, she can never manage to catch Electric-type Pokemon because her throwing arm isn't good enough to keep up with their speed, and their generally temperamental personalities make it difficult to get to know them.
Additional Info: Her Pokemon are: a Gallade named Squall, a female Lucario named Blitz, and a female Gardevoir named Atalanta.

Well, here's who I'm using for this RP set up.  WARNING:  WALL OF TEXT.  Not for the faint of heart or lack of interested.  Also, this is only a character sheet.  I'm not doing an RP set yet.  That'll be tomorrow.

Kurai Yonakowa:  SOLDIER 1st class.  From Final Fantasy VII.  He works for Shin-Ra.  Despite having a pretty good set up for being in SOLDIER, Kurai owns a bar/inn that he himself often runs.  However, whenever he gets called in, he often leaves one of his workers in charge.  His main weapon is a katana named Mutsunokami, it is known as the illusion sword as it creates two copies of him similar to clones without wasting his power.  However, these clones have no physical form and disappear once struck.  Kurai mostly fights with his fists and only uses his magic in extreme cases.

Appearance: He has black hair that is cut to the middle of the back of his head. While that part is short, the front part of his hair is a bit longer with a few strands actually hanging down in front of his face.

He has oval shaped, jet black eyes that have slight bags under them from lack of sleep. He has a small, triangular shaped nose and he has a stoic face that hardly ever changes unless he actually finds something amusing or gets angry.

Kurai stands at 5’9 and weights around 186 pounds. He is well fit but not too the point of being called skinny or being built heavily, even though he can eat a lot. His skin is slightly toughened from his life of constant battle and is somewhat tanned. However, during the summertime his tan actually darkens a bit more.

His outfit consists of a black shirt with two lighter colored shoulder guards, but they’re mainly decoration and hardly serve as protection. On his stomach under his shirt he has a form of armor that protects against some smaller forms of magic and some light attacks.

His pants are the same color as his shirt but there are two gray stripes around the pocket areas and his left leg has a brace on it, mainly decoration. He has on brown, leather boots and he has a brown belt with small straps on either side that serve to hold various items. He has brown leather gloves with some metal plates on the backs that protect the hands and the fingertips have metal underneath the leather. He has another pair of gloves that only has the index, and middle finger covered in a black, rubbery substance while the rest of his fingers are uncovered.

Personality: Personality wise, Kurai is quiet and reserved when around other people and usually sticks to his own affairs unless questioned by someone else. However, he is very anti-social and rarely talks, but when he does, he doesn’t like to sugarcoat words and tells things like he sees them regardless of how people may feel.

He feels it unnecessary to sugarcoat many things because in the end, you’re just saying the same thing. However, most of the time Kurai won’t even bother talking and will either nod or make some kind of body gesture as his form of answering whenever someone is talking to him.

Kurai is actually the type of person you could tell your deepest and darkest secret to and he wouldn’t judge you or spread it around to anyone. He simply doesn’t care and doesn’t see it as any of his real business. “If you wanted other people to find out, you’d go tell them yourself.” are his exact words when concerning other people’s secrets.

When Kurai is by himself though, he is a bit more outgoing than he normally is and actually voices what he’s thinking by talking to himself. He actually makes small smiles and frowns more often when he thinks no one is watching.

Likes: Kurai likes food. He likes sweets mostly. He gets bubbly and giddy whenever someone presents him with a bowl of ice cream. However, his most favorite joy is spicy foods. He also likes music, reading and experimenting on/with various things to a small degree but not as much as he likes his food.

Dislikes: Kurai hates racists, loud noises and things that get too crazy to handle or deal with. He also hates extremely bright colors like neon. But the thing he hates most is being ignored whenever he’s trying to get someone’s attention.

He can understand if you didn’t hear him the first time or two, but if you’re downright not paying attention, even if he increases his volume, he starts to get angry and starts up with snappy replies instead of his calm and collected ones.

Fears: Kurai hates thunder and lightning storms. They scare him worse than going out into the dark of night. But the one thing that is almost hard to find out is he’s afraid of things that are bigger than him or that could possibly cause him serious harm, like huge animals for example.

Character History: As a child, Kurai grew up with hardly any friends. It wasn’t a matter of if he could make them, but more of a matter of if he wanted them. Because of his anti-social attitude, he never talked to anyone and usually just brushed off people when they tried to get to know him.

He would often walk away, ignore people, or just stare at them with his stoic look until they got too unnerved to stay around him any longer as he preferred to just sit around and do whatever came to mind instead of make friends and socialize with people.

As he got older, Kurai decided he wanted to join SOLDIER and applied for the job.  After much testing and grueling courses, he was finally accepted into their ranks.  As time went by, he had proven himself again and again until the day he was finally nominated for 1st.  Kurai obtained the rank and now spends most of his days completing missions or taking it easy at his bar/inn.

His attitude has slightly changed over the years.  Thanks to influence from other people, he started opening up more and became more talkative and less rude.

Limit Break:  Kurai has one limit break so far.  Tri Hazard:  He charges 3 orbs of fire, ice and lightning, wraps them in a shell of magic to keep them apart and fires them twirling around each other at the target where all 3 elements explode at once.

(I'm working on a second limit break that I was thinking of naming either Mako Fist/Blade or Materia Fist/Blade, but I'm having trouble not only working out the kinks of what it would do, but also exactly how powerful this attack would be and a description for it.

I'm still working on editing Kain and Yoen.  If someone wishes to interact with Kurai then go ahead and I will reply as soon as I can.  (Or when I notice the post anyways.))

Position: Chaotic Neutral with tendencies towards good.
Power(s): Fleta is a generic Thief type from the final fantasy series.  As such, her abilities are designed around the abilities of the Thief Class, but with a Kingdom Hearts twist (for example, the ability Steal: Gil is now called Steal: Munny), along with a few original skills.  Fleta is also quite young, and is still learning.  Also, as a pure arms class, Fleta is completely unable to use magic.  Magic items (such as Bomb's Arm, Zeus' Wrath, Ice Fang, etc), on the other hand, she is able to use, should she be in possession of any.

Known skills:

Command Window:
  • Attack - Attacks with equipped weapon.
  • Parry/Counter - Attempts to parry and counter an incoming attack.
  • Thief Skill - Use a skill available to the Thief class.
  • Use Item - Use an item in stock.
  • Libra - Record a wealth of knowledge about the target. Subclass innate.

Support Abilities:
  • Item Hunter - Slightly increases chances of enemies dropping lesser items.  Does not apply to rare items.  Stacks with the Lucky Lucky ability.  Required level: 5
  • Sync Blade - Allows the user to equip two weapons at once, or equip a pair-type weapon.  Class innate.
  • Dagger Lock - Character may only equip Daggers and Twin Daggers.  Class innate.

  • Steal: Munny - Chance to cause an opponent to drop munny, if they have any.  That munny can then be picked up.

  • Steal: Item - Chance of causing an opponent to drop an item.  Item can then be picked up.

  • Pilfer - When used, unleashes an attack that has a chance to steal Munny from the target.

Appearance: Fleta has green eyes and blond hair put up in short twintails.  When her hair is down, it goes down to about the mid-upper back area.  She stands a little under four feet tall, and is slender in build.  Her outfit is the generic Thief outfit from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance/A2, and is colored green.  Her daggers are almost always identical in shape (with slight thematic differences), while being polar opposites in theme.  Currently, they are simple daggers, one with a white hilt, one with a black hilt.  The scabbards for her daggers are placed on the backside of her belt.

Personality:  Fleta is cheerful and outgoing.  She is also quite a bit mischievous, it's hard for her to go places without causing a little bit of trouble along the way.  Although she is usually kind to others, she doesn't necessarily trust others, especially adults.  As a result, she tends to keep secrets secret, even from her friends, and isn't one for listening to gossip.  She does have a few heroes that she looks up to, though, including Locke Cole and Robin Hood, both being legendary thieves/treasure hunters.  That doesn't necessarily mean that she share's the mantra of her heroes, however.  She doesn't care to much about letting her bounty just be given off to the poor...

Original World: Ivalice
Current Residing World: Twilight Town
History/Background:  Fleta grew up in a decent family, or so she believes.  She really was too young back then, though, when Ivalice became overrun by the heartless.  The fact that she's still here must mean something, right?  Yes, so her family must have been nice enough to save her from that.  However, she doesn't pay much mind to it, and instead gets by through theft.  Of course, there are those that object to this lifestyle, but every time they try to bring it up, she always looks back and simply replies "but it's fun...", signifying that she has no intention of getting adopted, or to stop stealing.  This philosophy of hers has gotten her into trouble before, and she's been lectured to once or twice by people whom managed to catch her.

Now living in Twilight Town, she simply tries to get by, while occasionally having a little bit of fun here and there.  She steals what she needs to get by, and even some things she doesn't but simply wants.  Being a child, though, she doesn't really pay much attention to the news and recent events, and is largely unaware of the danger looming on the horizon.  She has, however become wary of the various strange creatures she's started seeing from time to time...

MP - This is a measure of a person's magic and skill pool. The more MP they have, the more they can preform skills and cast magic.
STR - This is the measure of a person's strength. The more STR they have, the more physical damage they deal.
VIT - This is the measure of a person's vitality. The more VIT they have, the less damage they take from physical attacks.
MAG - This is the measure of a person's magic power. The more MAG they have, the more damage they deal with magic attacks.
SPI - This is the measure of a person's spirit power. The more SPI they have, the less damage they take from magic attacks.
AGL - This is the measure of a person's agility. The more AGL they have, the faster they can pull off combos, skills, spells, techniques, and other abilities.
SPD - This is the measure of a person's speed. The more SPD they have, the faster they can move.
AMR - Number of Armor Slots a character has.  The more they have, the more armor type items they can equip.  Armor generally boosts defenses.
ACC - Number of Accessory Slots a character has.  The more they have, the more accessory type items they can equip.  Accessories generally boost offenses.
ITM - Number of Item Slots a character has.  The more the have, the more consumable items they can have ready to use.  Consumables have a wide variety of effects.

As such, she will be played as a high-speed, low-attack type character.

I do not recall saying that I assumed that? However, my Icecap is definitely genderless. By the way, I am thinking of adding some updates to my characters, including portraits to go with them.

Any RPs that happen, since I plan to actually HAVE RPs around here. Probably, most of them won't be stat-based because that requires a game master and, in all honesty, nobody here except maybe Role has the time or patience for that.

Actually, I usually don't play stat-based games.  The only times stats are really used in the games I run are when they're used as REFERENCE.  For example, look at the class table above in Fleta's post.

The stats are done on a scale of one to ten, with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst.

For the equipment options, defensive units can equip more armor, offensive can equip more accessories, and skill type units have a higher aptitude with using items.  Conversely, the opposite is true - units that sacrifice defense can't equip as much armor.  Sacrificing attack lowers the amount of accessories you can use, and sacrificing skill lowers the competency with items (basically, item slots are basically things you have ready for battle - or at least, that's the assumption)

The stats on the weapons?  Also for reference.  Though it's set up to emulate actual KH equipment, in reality it's used as a reference compared to other weapons.  Daggers, for example, are weaker than swords, but have a faster swing speed (for reference:  The Kingdom Key, assumed to be a standard sword-type key, has 3 attack and 1 Magic, while a dagger only has 2 attack, but faster swing speed).  They also have an elevated critical rate and damage in comparison.  Basically, by comparing the equipment, and taking note of additional effects, they can reply accordingly in RP.  Equipment will show up visibly in an RP, unlike an RPG, so by seeing that the other play has a lot of Fire resistance gear, they'd choose to attack with another element.

As for the "Character level", it's basically a relative number.  As the character grows and learns, they learn more skills, become more competent as a fighter, and even have skills evolve (example:  Steal Munny → Pilfer.  It's basically steal munny with an attack thrown in for good measure).  Instead of killing heartless to gain levels, "levels" are completely dependent on storyline developments.

IN other words, stats really don't mean anything.  They're just there to be exceptionally detailed info for the RP.  When it comes down to it in the RP, storytelling is what matters.  However, My KH system IS my most reference stat-heavy system, and can easily be adapted into an RPG if I were to give it enough time and effort.

Unfortanately, I can't do much for their stats besides grading between 1 and 10, 10 being best, But here goes.

Name: John
Species: Shapeshifter (I might get told off for this, but YOLO, He can change between the forms of a Human and a Mudkip, it's actually kinda explained that he was forcibly turned into one for 3 years straight in his backstory, and apparently can change back to it, yet he perfers his human self.)
Weapon(s): Imaginer's Blade (John's powers are kinda tied to this, Block his powers, You block the use of this.) Dual-Volcanic (Etrian Oddessy), Assassin Yatagahn Sword (He rarely uses this, First appeared in Assassin's Creed Revelations I believe.) Dual-Force-of-Natures (Scattergun from TF2, Does alot less damage then regular weapons, but sends any enemy hit with it flying).
Power(s) (If applicable): Able to create things with his imagination in exchange for his energy (And this uses ALL energy reserves, His whole fighting style's based around this and using anything he has on hand Ezio Auditore style.) Seeing future dangers (Sometimes works, sometimes activates without him doing ANYTHING, sometimes it just shows something completely irrelevent)
Appearence: White-skinned boy, fairly bit on the short side for someone who's 17, Brown Eyes, Brown Hair. Sometimes appears with Red or Yellow Eyes (Can't really explain that too clearly.)
Personality: Carefree, Tries to be both a good leader and Hero. Also a bit of a wiseass
Backstory: He ended up being the MC for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorer's of Time, with his partner being Torchic, with the whole story being canon. The rest is either classified because either John doesn't want ANYONE to know, or that I don't have a whole lot of time to explain it, aside from that he met some of my other OCs, and that Torchic died. (Planning on explaining that during RPs.)
Weaknesses: Electrical attacks, Anything that drains away energy can seriously mess him up (If his Power goes down to 15%, he has to breath, 5- negative 4, he would have to remove himself from a fight due to it getting worse, -5>-14, He collapses for 10-15 mins, -15 or less, and he basically becomes a corpse, and alot of the stuff he can do can lower this power thing from 100 to 17.)

Also, his Pokemon form has Hydro-Pump, Blizzard, Brine, and Hydro Cannon, and he can oddly enough use Aura Blade in Human form.

Vitality: 5/10
Agility: 8/10
Strength: 4/10
Energy Projection: 9/10
Skill with Ranged attacks: 5/10

I'll probably do some of my other OCs later if I have time, and yes, I did have to rush on this one because I was told to get off the PC (John's age matches mine, and my own laptop's Hard Drive Disk got rekt)

Aww, dat's kinda a shame, getting at least John involved in a Golden Sun RP sounded interesting.

Anyhow, go ahead and edit your characters, I had to edit John's a bit simply because I had more time today.

Heh, need an active forum for an active RP.  We're active enough to keep the forum alive, but not enough people here for full on RPs.

Atrius: @Fox, I tried, but for some reason Mario Golf won't boot, and Mario Tennis crashes when you patch out the text compression, and I'm not sure why...  The normal text loading functions in them are basically the same as the ones in the Golden Sun games.

Fox: @Mario Golf/text editing = Nope... And it may be awhile yet. I think I looked into it before... (at least for GS1)... but usually is the case when I come across a particular problem, that it can delay a solution for an extremely long time.
