That's the thing - when you become resistant, that means it's gotten old.  We like looking at cute pictures and stuff, but the moe boom... its cuteness has gotten tiring.  As such, I'd say that all of us have developed a bit of 'resistance' to it, to the point that we don't care about cute in anime, and pick it apart for its flaws.

We actually tried having an anime club here, but it didn't really go anywhere.  Plenty of people thought it was a good idea, but not many actually showed up.  Between that, and fights over how often and when it should be held, pretty much caused it to be dissolved.

Yeah... I'm the only one who doesn't really care about all the little details on it. I just enjoyed talking with you guys after watching. I even found some interesting anime to watch from it. In fact, if I had more time I would try to start it up again.

But aside from that this isn't really the topic to talk about this in, I think there is a topic called JAAA you can read up on it there or try to find some new people who would like to do it.

So, I have essentially created a universe in my head. This universe is divided into sectors: Alnylthaltaria, Noctalos, the Tranchoral Zone, and the Outer Realms. The Outer Realms are an endless void with five structures in it: The Melody of Reflection, The Overture of Nostalgia, The Symphony of Entropy, The Requiem of Sanity, and The Elegy of Eternity. The first four appear as mansions floating in the abyss, the last resembling a spiraling tower, looming above the others. Within the Melody is a being known as Eptilier, the Negative Manifestation. Its mirrored surface projects a corrupted reflection of all it views. Within the Overture is a being known as Oemnion, the Scion of Balance. It appears as a well-mannered butler that draws upon the memories of others to keep them from becoming like its siblings. Next, within the Symphony, is Nyroswoad, the Docile Positivity. Though it tries to make the universe a better place, all it ends up doing is spreading chaos. These three are the Triad, and they are represented by the bird-like people of the Tranchoral Zone. Within the Requiem is Yltha'ern, the Titan of Harmony. In its impossible angularity, the hive mind of the Noctalos thrives and spreads, as does a subtle universal constant. Finally, deep within the Elegy, manipulating events to its unknown purposes, is Alnylthyria, the Incomprehensible Aeons. From within the Elegy, it guides the Alnylthaltaria people, constantly improving, to the point where they have gained the ability to breach the universal boundary- to planeswalk, as some might put it.

I for one would be interested in any details you've thought out so far, or if you have any ideas for some sort of story going in in this universe. But if there's more to this, I think it's better if you post it in the creative works section.

this sounds exactly like something i made up when i was 14... I thought of a universe with its own rules and how it worked... and its structure sounds exactly like you are describing it... please do go into more detail.

I didn't see anything about Noctalos. more detail would me nice. but this seems like genius. u should write a book. I'd sure as hell buy it! :)

Rock <genre> is for the win. rockisftw xD. For like all of my life, I've had to deal with there being no rock music station here. Saddening, but it made me wonder why noone listened to it. So I listened to it, liked it.
Then, typical texting language replaces the need for alot of typing; rockisftw.
