I'm back

hey everyone,

I don't know if you remember me, but i worked with
y'all a while back on the DC community project. I
suddenly dropped off the map and haven't been here
for about a year. I actually have an explanation. I'm
sure y'all were pissed that i seemingly quit with no
notice. That was never my intention. at the time, a lot
of my family was in the hospital. my grandmother and
an aunt and an uncle died in close proximity. I was out
of town often and never was able to get on. After that,
my whole computer crashed. We couldnt afford a new
one and i was forced to use the school computers for
schoolwork. around july, i got a new computer, but
was working all summer and didnt use it. when school
began, i decided i should get back on. this didnt
happen, however, because i got grounded for 6
months. and now, a year later, i come back hoping
y'all will allow me back on the project. i am expecting
no further interruptions. im not trying to make
excuses, i am simply explaining what has happened. i
hope y'all will forgive me. i hope you've been well. ive
missed you guys.

Welcome back dwkjohn! It's nice to see that you returned!

As for the community project... I am sure anyone is allowed to come and go as they please, so no worries.

You probably should be updated on a few things.
1.) Salanewt doesn't come here anymore. (See The Leaving User Thread)
2.) Atrius is no longer working on the editor. (Due to other priorities.)

Edit: And in case you weren't here for an even longer time:
3.) Charon, our previous co-admin, also left. Atrius is our only Admin right now. And Overlord Kain is our Global Moderator. No one else is on the staff. (Unless you count the Clan Moderation team and Community Project Moderator(s).)

well... thats a big shock. so no editor updates huh. that means no future sprite/map/event editor. dang. by hand it is. ill miss sala. :/ wont be the same. well im glad to be back. :)

I never said there wouldn't be anymore editor updates.  Just that Atrius is no longer doing them.

Not sure how you expect to do them by hand, when you have to mess with a lot of compressed data.

Salanewt still comes on the internet sometimes, just not to GSHC. I think he may still be busy with school/college, unless I'm mistaken.
