Either an alternate world or a place ruined by the golden sun.
Probably an area drained of its elemental psynergy.



This person could be an important person. Maybe Mercury adept?



Unless that space is going to be used for Djinn Status display, there could be room for 2 more characters.
1 more character. The left over space is used to display number of djinn.



A temple in Mt. Vale? The symbol on that door is strange...

good eye, could well be Issac... tell me, any idea of were any of them citys are. one could be a rebuilt Vale but My GS eye fails me...

Actually, that may really BE Isaac.  He's shown wielding a 2Handed Sword, which mages don't have access to - and yet, when you look at the stats he has when his name is shown, he looks to be a mage, while Matt seems to be a warrior.

This could mean that Isaac is a temporary character, much like Jenna in GS1 - perhaps he's escorting you through a cavern or something in the prologue of the game.

This could also mean that we're stuck with GS1's classes... T-T

A few things worth noting:
1. There are now (very weak) group healing jupiter spells.
2. Terrell's name for some reason is spelled either Tyrel or Tyrell (can't tell which) in this, despite the official trailer clearly showing his name as Terrell.
3. Ragnarok looks awesome. Yes, I had to say this.

Ragnarok looks awesome.

And now that is a third known enemy (or at least planned), Ogre Titan. In the other video, there were Rat Skulks and Flutter Seeds.

Guess what I am working on right now, for portraits? Matthew's is about 70% done, and the others will be started afterwards. Next week, I might even start on sprites and battle sprites.

Oh, I reckon you will. I will probably only make overworld sprites for Matthew, and then the rest can have some battle sprites (I mean, if the others have barely been shown to do anything, then how can I make enough overworld sprites for them).

I am not sure if I would still be in topic, but I did see some portraits in one of the demo videos (and I know that this is old news, but I might as well say it so we do not go off topic too much). When a demo was shown with burning a portrait, did anyone else notice that Matthew climbed a tree?

Eight characters would be nice. Maybe he/she is a guide NPC, like Kraden was? I have not seen very much of them in other snapshots though.
