Ever wanted to do cool Psynergy outside of battle like alex? Or wanted to use regular Psynergy in battle?  If any one finds cool tircks like this post them here :!:

Here's a cool trick.
Start a new game and go through the  :Jenna: :Kraden: :Alex: conversation until you can move freely in the lighthouse.  Go bak up to where the electricity is blocking the way to where  :Felix: went.  Open the game memory viewer and go to 0203230E and change the first value to 02.  From there walk through the electricity to the other side.  Change the value back to 00 and walk through the door.  WHOA :!:  Now change the value back to 02 and walk to the bottom of the screen and walk over behind the soldier.  Change the value to 00 again and talk to the bottom two soldiers.  The first on will be shot up and away by a stream of water like :Alex: and the other one will be pushed away and pulled back as if you had "the force".
try it and let me know how you like it.
if you find any other cool things post them here.

Also, if you change the value again after you fight the first 2 ruffians, you can go around where Kraden won't let you go.  Yes it exists but you can't totally leave,it just sends you back.
Just sayin'.

Okay, first I'm pretty sure this is the wrong place for that.
Second, cut down on the emotes.  No, really.  That's way too much.

Atrius (He/They)

That's just because the code for those parts of the cutscene are actually referenced from where you'd normally put the event for when you talk to those NPCs.  Essentially the cutscene makes them think someone talked to them when it comes time for them to do their thing.

Hmm... This does give me an interesting idea though...

Penny for your thoughts? And even in the story, that one bottom right soldier doesn't get thrown back and forth. That just seems wierd to me.

Atrius (He/They)

He's not being thrown back and forth.  That's the script for when the one runs away to get reinforcements, except he doesn't come back then.

Also note that the two you talk to that have these reactions are actually the two that stay and end up walking backwards away from Alex.

I found out that after you shoot that guy away with water and go through the story, that it just sits there for a few seconds when :Alex: talks to them. I'm guessing that this is because that guy is supposed to be doing something and since he is not there the game still waits the same length of time.

immediately Chrono Trigger's battle system pop's in my head.
"You state that I have misinterpreted my results, and it looks as though you believe my views to be unsound. Your arguments are those of an eminent scholar. I was myself a fair scholar. For years I pondered, so to speak, day and night over books, and filled my head with sound views–very sound ones, indeed—those of others. But I could no[t] get to practical results. I then began to work and think independently. Gradually my views became unsound, but they conducted me to some sound results." - Nikola Tesla

And that's related HOW, Menaus? Seriously, don't spam.

Genis: Sweet!

Zelos: Let's not start on this again...

Doing battle psynergy outside of the battle screen reminds me of how Chrono Trigger's battle system works. Can't you see a resemblance?

I don't see how that is considered spam... Do you even know how Chrono Trigger's battle system works?
