"Hear the sounds and melodies
Of rilets flowing down
They're the verlasting songs
Whispering all the time
As a warning that behind some rocks
There's a rigid grap even
Oreads fear the tread"

So what kind of map do we need exactly?
We need Ancient Lemuria map.
The same you worked with.

So, it's done. It was fairly easy and didn't take long to make.

Explaination:
Sand colour: Desert
Browngreyish: Mountain
Thin blue lines: Rivers
Dark green ellipses: Forests
Red dots: LH's and Mt. Aleph
Also I didn't add many locations since they don't exist yet.

Well what do you think? Is it good enough?
Also we can do two things after this: Make a more detailed map almost usable for RPGmaker, or keep this one and try to recreate it.
I could make a more detailed map in either case (but then just x2 size).

Nice. I would place a few more cities around 'Angara' though.

Show me please location of Loho.
A good question. I have marked the map with a purple dot where I think it is.
While I am thinking about it, Loho may actually be situated deeper in the land. Placing it deeper in land explains that it isn't consumed by the shrinking of the land, and that there is just a little peice of Loho left around the time GS.

BTW, don't you use Paint.Net or GIMP? I can just give you the .PDN file, which makes it alot easier to edit.

Well that's good. Here is the file.
HOW TO USE: Open the file with Paint.Net and open the Layers window. Then you can enable and disable layers or add or delete them. The layer that is marked with blue is the one you can currently edit.
Also, I have added the colder areas and done some minor things.

Once you get the hang of Paint.Net, it's a great tool.

Well you pressed some kind of shortcut. However I don't almost know any of them in Paint.Net except for s (select) and m (move). I have a screenshot in the attachments that shows you where to enable the layers.

By the way, what kind of Bitmap compression do you use to get such nice images?

Thanks that's the thing.
So here is how I save those pictures.
Or I must tell more?

Why not PNG?  It is the format of the gods, after all.

Also, dood, seriously.  Get gimp or Paint.NET - don't use MS Paint.  Both programs are free and good.
