And apparently I misunderstood the purpose of this topic. I thought that when you were asking for comments you wanted people to respond with what they thought on the subject. I'm not a fan of the method for various reasons (already given, I don't need to go over them again), so I wrote my argument against it. I know not everyone has to adopt this. I know we aren't adopting it for the community hack. I know it isn't an end-all be-all "you must do this" kind of thing. But you posted a discussion topic and I'm discussing. If I came off as overly critical, I apologize.

Well, my goal was more to share one idea on how to do this.  I think everyone misunderstood it, but from that, we now have someone who'll post their own suggestion, too! \o/

Yeah, I understand you don't have to repeat yourself... though perhaps we should post the PoV for the approach in the first post?  That way they can choose the one they most agree with.

Sounds good to me. Although people would realize if they agree with it after reading the whole thing, it's always nice to have a quick synopsis to know if you're interested in reading more in-depth.
