It's not a bad idea to add items for every psynergy but at this point it's very low priority for me, not gonna lie.

I am replaying (3rd or 4th time) through Reloaded. Some notes I have while running a different set up:
- Some Psynergy that can be used in the overworld is not available as "base". This necessitates switching djinn around out of combat often to solve the puzzles. For example in TBS, Whirlwind is only available if Ivan has Venus djinn (but not triclass), or Isaac has Jupiter (without triclass) or Garet has Jupiter (again without triclass). I remember that you explained that this was intended and that you did not want to have them as base on the characters. My suggestion would be, if possible, to add all Psynergies used for overworld puzzles as equippable items (except Move and Retreat of course)
- Killer Ape in Mogall Forest can kill a character from full hp if it uses Ransack twice on a row on them. If intended, you can disregard this :p After all we need a reason to use Guard and Protect
- Manticore in Lamakan Desert is the first boss that makes extensive use of 5-target damage abilities. This is the first fight (after the Hydros Statue boss change) that requires Wish almost every round. The available djinn up to this point "unlock" Wish with 4 Mercury djinn on Mia, Isaac or Ivan, but not on Garet. No other class can be unlocked up to this point with Wish. At the same time, Resist, which would massively help here to reduce the need of Wish, is only available for Ivan monoelement or Garet with 4 Jupiter djinn but high level, or Ivan with Mercury (which already unlocks Wish anyway). This is where I'm stuck now, I'm trying to find a way to defeat it without having to switch djinn around :p
My suggestion would be to make Resist available at 18+ levels to open up that strategy for this boss.

Long story short, I had to backtrack and redo a lot of work, due to technical issues, but overall mostly past that. Currently, every fight in the game has been worked on at this point. Though most still need testing on the casual version of the mod. But I still have a bit of ways to go between fine tuning boss fights, especially the super boss fight and doing one more round of review/refinement. Both for veteran (new name I have for challenge/default difficulty) and casual mode.
There's also an assortment of other mis. things than still need to be done before release, like minor dialogue adjustments, and all the trailer/promo videos I want to have ready for its release. So no definite date quite yet.
I have made a couple blog posts relating to progress over the past couple months. So you can find out more detail about it all there.

Project List / Golden Sun But With Dogs
Last post by JackitK - 21, April, 2024, 07:05:35 PMA small mod I made for April Fools. Plays like the original Golden Sun 1, with a lot more dog NPCs. Also features some other quirky changes, like changes to dialogue, books, and minor changes to prologue enemies. The mod basically ends after Vault. So while you can continue playing it beyond that point, you shouldn't expect anything to be different beyond that point.

The videos below showcase the majority of the changes the mod makes, for those of you who don't/can't go through the trouble of patching the game and playing it for yourself.

It does however work on all other GBA emulators on PSP/Vita.
That being said TBS Reloaded works flawlessly on gpSP so far.

I used the Italian ROM as base for both games.
Everything is translated except the graphics from the game, like the intro background where it says "The Lost Age", or some graphics from the Colosso where it should say Start and things like that.
If someone wants to insert the original images from the spanish rom you're welcome to do it!
Also the articles like "una" in "una avellana" were removed. In the game data should be something like "[1D][01] avellana" where [1D][01] is the article "una". The problem is that in Italian and English the articles are different and I couldn't managed to change it. There is someone who knows how to do it?
Remember that you must apply the patches to the vanilla Italian ROMS of the games, without Caledor's mod. This patch already applies the mod.

¡Hola! He conseguido acabar la traducción de Golden Sun Reloaded de Caledor al español.
He utilizado la ROM italiana como base los dos juegos.
Todo está traducido excepto los gráficos del juego, como el background del principio donde dice "The Lost Age", o algunos gráficos del Coloso donde debería decir "Empieza" y cosas por el estilo.
Si alguien quiere insertar las imágenes originales de la ROM en español, ¡puede hacerlo si sabe cómo!
También eliminé los artículos como "una" en "una avellana". En los datos del juego debería ser algo como "[1D][01] avellana", donde [1D][01] es el artículo "una". El problema es que en italiano e inglés los artículos son diferentes y no he podido cambiarlo. ¿Hay alguien que sepa cómo hacerlo?
Recuerda que debes aplicar los parches a las ROMS Italianas limpias de los juegos. El mod de Caledor ya lo añade este parche.

Ahora he arreglado algunos fallos en la traducción que detecté y además he actualizado a la última version que sacó Caledor, la 1.82a.
