Lol yea, I know what styles can be, no worried. Mine's actually a thicker version of Rumiko Takahashi's later Inu-yasha drawing styles. You can see that best in the faces, usually.

My very first sprite frame! ^^ It's the caharcter in this link: http://rtssh21.deviantart.com/art/Jupiter-Adept-inked-160434815 Hopefully, If Atrius is able to make an option where a person can run around as the character that is first in their party, I might be able to contribute or make my own hack so that this character can run around someday. ^^

Sky: Well, I tried spriting... but it really does look like he's walking backwards... ^^; Um, and the other one was just for fun. I noticed how his head moved, so... ^^; I thought it was silly...

Sky: I did it! Here he is! ^^ It's only one of eight directions, but here is the jupiter adept above that I was working on. i make his head blend a little so that it didn't look like a cut and paste job, fixed the left leg in frame one and the right leg in frame one, etited the hair's top shading, made his hair longer and actually move in the wind a bit, and gave him the slightest little limp for his bad left ankle. He still looks a little off, but I think he looks quite good the way he is right now. What do all of you think?

Your sprites are interesting. I like Isaac's dancing animation... If his arms were moving up and down, each arm opposite of the other, then it would remind me of Superstar Saga.

Also, the walking animation is diagonal, correct? Not too shabby!

I never played Superstar Saga before. I just thought it would be hularious if I made Isaac sance. He's got the little body for it. I don't think I would be able to get Garet to dance, but I could try. I know I can get the other two in that group anyway. XD

Yeah, that is one of the diagonals. Sky did that. XD It's the very first sprite any of us have ever made, so there are a few little quirks to fix, but she says "thank you" anyways. XD

I think you should still say "Have a May day." XD

Also, I think Garet could dance... I have something for rocking his arms from the left to right... Anyway, you are good at spriting.

I was thinking of making Garet do the chicken dance XD and Ivan moonwalking. I don't know what to do for the other characters though.

Artwork update (since school's finally out, i got lotsa crap to show know) X3 i also decided what my hack of golden sun is going to be, so now i can make my own too (while still contributing to the community's, of course)

lol thanks Attrius XD i dont know how to do that, and im too used to public indecency XD. LOL
anyways, heres pictures i made of the AhGAhStTEGAIN in Fyohlr which i plan to put in my GS hack. theres the skeleton, muscles and skin, and the next picture is an average AhGAhStTEGAIN that isn't fully grown yet.

oh, its not THAT BAD, Role. bad, thats true, but not that bad. i figured out how to do the spoiler thing now though, so all ends well. and besides, if you read it, you'll find its really cute X3 i am sorry though >.< im not good with forums, so i have a tendancy of messing up like that ^^;

This is supposed to be a PG13 site, you know... you hit R with that.  Better safe than sorry - if one of the young brats younger members of the forum is caught by a parent when they open the spoiler tag, they could easily have us shut down just by contacting the authorities.  Since we have no age warning, we'd be screwed.

that cant really be R already o.o i thought it was pretty tame... i figured the picture was more like older audiences. 16+. thanks to Atrius, theres a warning on it now, so it should be okay. iono. i'll bug Atrius about it. if its that big of a deal and he wants me to remove it, i will. i dont mind, i understand ^^;

You've got no idea how bad parents can get when it comes to protecting their child's "virgin eyes", do you?  It's best to err on the side of caution.  If there's not a disclaimer on the main page saying you have to be so old to enter, don't have it.  Period.

Honestly I find the notion that the human body itself can be considered a bad thing to be rather ridiculous.  Depending on the gender of the person it's nothing they don't see every day when they bathe or change clothes anyway.

However this is a community for people of all ages, and many parents would disagree with me.  The only exception to the rule will be in art topics where it is an original work not of a sexual/pornographic nature, and proper warnings (IE: Spoiler tag with reason set correspondingly) must be in place.  If the majority of the work posted by someone applies, they're better off finding a different community to show off their work, and may have their artwork topic deleted.

yeah, i always thought it was disrespectful to treat bodies with such shame too. i remember being like 4 and asking mom about that. she said its embarassing, and i would figure it out later, but i still dont really see why the body is so suposidly discusting.

all i have to do is figure out what age to put it as, and be sure to not post similar things too often. dont worry too much Role, i'll be more careful from now on, k? ^^ also, my friend's mom is a lawyer, and i just asked her about it. she said its fine if i put the proper warnings, so all is good
